
Over 10 years after submitting for divorce from Porsha Williams, Kordell Stewart addressed earlier claims about their two-year marriage, Reality Blurb reported. "That was true love at the time. But once you get on the show and things are starting to be insinuated, from the conversations about 'beards' to me being controlling, it becomes a whirlwind of things," he defined all the way through a February 2021 look on The Tamron Hall Show.
He went on to acknowledge that with the reality display being "all about storyline," he had a sense the previous rumors about him being homosexual could be brought out on the display. Despite the drama, he expressed no regrets for showing on the display with his ex. "In marriages there's two words — there's compromise and sacrifice," he defined. "To be honest with you, if I had to do it again I probably would not do it, but I'm not ashamed of doing it. Because I was really doing it for her because it was her opportunity to be on this stage in which she's on right now." He added how "happy" he is for his reality megastar ex.
